	Meetings The Conejo Valley Chapter generally meets on the 2nd Thursday from 7:30pm-9:30pm at the Westlake Village Civic Center. Please always check our calendar of upcoming topic list and R.S.V.P. to insure you don't miss anything. Some months a secondary meeting is offered on the third Thursday of the month. Meetings are open to any mothers not just members. Each month's meeting will focus on a different topic and consist of either a speaker, question and answer session, workshop or discussion group. For information on meeting topics, visit our meeting topic list Mom's Night Out (MNO) and Family Events Our Social Chair plans a variety of events annually and is always open for suggestions. Mom's Night Out is held the 4th Wednesday of each month and includes lively social get togethers at restaurants and other venues. Other events include mom pampering dates, family picnics and Holiday pot-luck dinners. For more information or to RSVP, please contact Julie. Play groups/Park Days Our Chapter organizes member-hosted play groups in member's homes and at parks. The in-home play groups are for members only and the park play groups are for both members and prospective members. Play groups offer an invaluable opportunity to bond with other moms while the kids get a chance to practice socializing with others. Playdates are hosted at various times during the month. All ages of children are welcomed at any play group to enable mothers of multiple children to participate with both kids present and also to help first time moms learn insight, shortcuts, etc. from more seasoned moms. Care Committee Our Care Committee provides assistance for any member in need of extra help such as when a member has a baby, surgery or other special needs. Members volunteer to provide meals or other assistance to the family. Newsletters Through your membership in Mothers & More, you will receive informative newsletters. You will also receive the national newsletter called the Forum and the local chapter newsletter. Book Club Join in on lively discussions and critiques with other members after reading some of the current best sellers of today and yesterday. The book club meets every other month on the third Wednesday of the month from 7:30-9:30pm. See our list of upcoming and past books. Online Loop Our Chapter has an online discussion group hosted by Yahoo!. It serves as a forum to ask questions, exchange information, seek support and establish contacts.
